Drivers
Drivers is the register of who can drive your fleet, with their licence details and expiry. A driver record links to an employee, so the person on a collection round is the same person in your HR records rather than a separate list to maintain.
Where to find it
Go to EcoFleet > Settings > Drivers.
Field reference

| Employee | Their record in HRM, so payroll and fleet agree on who they are. |
| License Number | Their driving licence. |
| License Expiry | When it lapses. The date to watch. |
| Phone / Email | How to reach them on the road. |
| Status | Whether they are available for scheduling. |
| Assigned Vehicle | The vehicle they normally drive. |
Check licence expiry before scheduling, not after an incident. A driver with an expired licence invalidates the insurance on the vehicle they are in, which turns a paperwork lapse into an uninsured loss.
Assigned vehicles
A default vehicle assignment speeds up job scheduling and makes fuel consumption comparable — the same driver in the same vehicle over time gives a baseline that a rotating assignment does not.
