Vehicle Types
Vehicle Types classify your fleet — tanker, skip loader, compactor, van. The type is what makes a schedule sensible, since a job needing a particular kind of vehicle should not be booked to whatever happens to be free.
Where to find it
Go to EcoFleet > Settings > Vehicle Types.
What a record holds

Managing the list
| Action | Notes |

| Add | Creates an entry. |
| Edit | Changes it. Existing records follow the new name. |
| Delete | Blocked while records still reference it — deactivate instead. |
Classify by what the vehicle can do, not by what it is called. Two vehicles with different badges that do the same job belong to one type; two of the same model fitted differently do not.
