Reorder Levels

The Reorder Levels List is a critical inventory management tool used to prevent stockouts. It allows the user to set specific threshold quantities for each item at various locations. When the physical stock falls to or below the "Reorder Level," the system identifies that it is time to replenish the item. By maintaining these levels, the user ensures that production and sales are never interrupted by missing materials. To access this list, navigate to Inventory > Click the "Reorder Levels" Tab.

Filters Section
Use these filters to view replenishment settings for specific warehouses, items, or vendors.
  • Select Location: View reorder levels assigned to a specific warehouse (e.g., A1 or DEF) or view "All Locations."
  • Select An item: Filter the list to see the settings for a single specific product.
  • Supplier: Narrow the list by selecting a specific vendor to see which of their items need monitoring.
  • Search Button: Click the green Search button to refresh the table based on the selected filters.

Reorder Levels Table
This table displays the specific replenishment rules configured for each item and location.
  • Location: The specific warehouse or business branch where the rule applies (e.g., A1, DEF).
  • Item: The Stock ID and Name of the product (e.g., Green Apple, Air Tag). Clicking the blue link opens the item's reorder configuration.
  • Reorder Level: The minimum quantity that triggers a replenishment need. For example, if set to 10.00, the user should reorder when stock hits this number.
  • Reorder Quantity: The standard amount that should be ordered whenever the reorder level is reached (e.g., 5,000.00).
  • Supplier: The preferred vendor from whom the item is typically purchased.

Proactive Stock Management
By monitoring this list, the user can quickly identify which items are approaching their critical minimums. This data is often used to automatically generate Purchase Orders or Internal Requisitions, ensuring that the warehouse is always stocked with the right amount of inventory based on demand.
