Reorder Levels

Reorder Levels

The Reorder Levels List shows the replenishment threshold for every item at every location. When stock falls to or below its level, it is time to buy — which is what stops production and sales being interrupted by something nobody noticed running out.

Proactive Stock Management

Compare Quantity On Hand against Reorder Level to see what needs buying. Requisition in Purchase does the same comparison automatically and turns the result into purchase orders.

Levels only work if they are maintained. An item with no level never appears as short, however low it goes — which is why requisition can look reassuringly empty while the warehouse is not.
