Material Indent
Material Indent is a request from site for the materials a job needs. It starts the movement chain — the indent asks, the move sends, and the return brings back what was not used — so the material that leaves your store is always traceable to a request.
Where to find it
Go to TenderPro > Material Indent. Create one with New Material Indent.
Raising an indent
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Project | The contract the material is for. |
| Material Indent Items | What is being requested, and how much. The quantity must be valid. |
| Items / Tools / Tools & Supports | The categories of material an indent can request. |
| Preview PDF | Produces the indent document for site to sign. |
| Process Material Indent | Commits the request. |
Tools are not consumed the way materials are. Indenting a tool means it is expected back — leaving it on the same footing as consumable material is how equipment quietly disappears across a long contract.
Editing an indent
Edit Material Indent amends one before it is processed. If the cart session expires while you are working, the lines are lost and the indent has to be rebuilt — save rather than leaving it open.
