New Amendment
New Amendment logs a change to a live membership — a dependent added or removed, cover changed, details updated, or the membership terminated.
Where to find it
Go to BurialPro > New > Amendment.
What to enter
| Field | Required | Description |

| Member | Yes | Whose policy is changing. |
| Kind | Yes | What kind of change — add or remove a dependent, change cover, update details, terminate. |
| Effective Date | Yes | When the change takes effect. |
| Dependent to Add / Dependent to Remove | Conditional | Required for dependent changes. The dependent type must be given. |
| New cover product | Conditional | Required when cover is changing. |
| Details to Update | Conditional | At least one detail must be entered for a detail update. |
| Notes / Comment | No | Why the change was requested. |
Read the Effect of this change panel before submitting. A cover downgrade can re-state the member's arrears, and the confirmation asks you to acknowledge that explicitly — because the member will notice.
What happens next
The amendment is logged as a draft, approved, and then applied to the policy. Only an approved amendment can be applied. See Amendments.
