SMS Log
SMS Log records every message the system tried to send — to whom, when, and whether it got through. It is the evidence that a member was told, and the first place to look when someone says they were not.
Where to find it
Go to BurialPro > Settings > SMS Log.
What the log shows
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Date | When the message was sent. |
| Member | Who it went to. |
| Phone | The number used. |
| Event | What triggered it. |
| Message | The text sent. |
| Status | Posted if the gateway accepted it, post failed if not. |
Where nothing has been sent, the screen reads No messages logged yet.
Posted means the gateway accepted the message, not that the member read it. For anything that matters — a claim decision, a lapse warning — the log supports a phone call rather than replacing one.
Using the log
- A run of failures usually means credit has run out or the gateway credentials have changed.
- Failures against one member normally mean a bad phone number on their record.
- An event with no log entries at all means its template is disabled.
