Designation Group
Designation Groups gather related job titles together. Where designations are individual roles, a group collects them — all engineering titles, all supervisory roles — so reporting and policy can apply to a set rather than to each title.
Where to find it
Go to HRM > Settings > Designation Group.
Managing groups
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Add New | Create a group. |
| Edit | Rename a group or change its members. |
| Delete | Remove a group no designation belongs to. |
| Show also Inactive | Include groups that have been deactivated. |
Keep the set small. Groups earn their place when they let you apply something once instead of many times — a list with a group per designation is just the designation list again.
