The Sales Agents are the people who helps the customers to choose their needs, like from cloth shops, they will help the customers to choose the right product for the customers, and also increase sales to the shops. Let's take a look at how the Sales agent works in our TamilAccounting ERP System.
Setup
- From HRM -> Settings -> Departments. Here create a department and turn the switch of Sales Agent on . or edit existing department to turn the Sales agent on. This helps to know which department in your company works as sales agent.
- Now add employees under that department, like add several employees by selecting the Sales agent department.
- You have created a sales agent department as well as the employees.
Sales
- Now goto Sales -> New -> Direct Invoice Here you will get the direct invoice screen. Here You know the Add Field for line items. Click that button to get a new popup to add custom fields.
- Type Label as Sales Agent and choose type drop down, and than choose Employees in the new option which appears on the screen now.
- Click add button to save this field and get in the Sales line items now.
- Now perform some sales transaction by selecting the agents.,
Reports
- As you made several sales transactions with sales agent, by accessing the Daily Sales summary items report, you can apply filters of Agents and get the data based on it.
